Telling Our Community's Story

As the region's leading nonprofit dedicated to nurturing the potential of children and teens, improving our community's health and well-being and providing opportunities to give back and support our neighbors, the YMCA of Middle Tennessee reaches one in six of the men, women and children who call our region home. We rely on local media to help us connect people with the support and resources they need to lead healthy, fulfilled lives and strive to maintain strong partnerships with all of our local media outlets.

At the Y, strengthening our community is our cause. We work to make our community stronger by focusing on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Our staff team includes subject-matter experts in each of these areas of focus, and we're always willing to serve as a professional source in news stories about these issues.
